Band Parents: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for NESBA Competition at Melrose, 10/6!
Hello Band Parents! The marching band is heading to Melrose High School this Saturday 10/6/2018 for NESBA competition! Parent chaperone volunteers, Podium Volunteers, Pit Equipment Assistant and Show Equipment Volunteers will be needed to assist the band and get the students safely onto the field, ON TIME, for their performance.
Podium Volunteers will help load/unload podiums and place them at the front of the competition field. Pit Equipment Assistants will assist the students in getting their equipment to the field. Equipment Volunteers will be responsible for moving the show props (10 chess pieces!) to the competition field. Upon arrival, please find our equipment trucks and meet Jag, the “pit boss”, and he will give you instructions!!! For those of you who sign up for podiums, pit equipment assistant and/or show prop volunteer, you will need to provide your own transportation to Melrose High School (360 Lynn Fells Parkway, Melrose, MA).
