NAHS Musicians Accepted to Senior Districts

Posted in the North Andover Patch Bulletin:  On November 15, North Andover Music Association hosted elite high school musicians from around Northeast MA to audition for Senior Districts. Senior District auditions are a wonderful opportunity for young musicians, in grades 9-12, to play or sing with other talented musicians from high schools all across the region. It is an opportunity to set a goal, to practice and prepare for a one-on-one audition, to receive feedback about one’s musical performance, and to build confidence and skill as a musician.

Making it into Districts is a fabulous accomplishment – chorus, orchestra, wind ensemble or jazz band. Top performers also receive an All State Recommendation. Making it into Districts leads to three days in January of intense rehearsal under the direction of superb conductors and a concert at Lowell High School on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
