NAMA Participates in Jazzgiving II, A Veteran’s Day Goodwill Benefit Concert

On Veterans Day this month, NAMA musicians teamed up with the Andover High School music community to provide a great night of entertainment to benefit two wonderful causes: Neighbors in Need and The Wounded Warrior Project.

The Veteran’s Day Goodwill Concert was hosted by The Jazz Disciples, with our own Martin McGrath on guitar. Also featured were groups from Andover and North Andover High Schools.

NAHS students who performed:

  • Archie Keltz – alto sax
  • Rohan Shukla – tenor sax
  • Bill Lauzon – trumpet
  • Val Nguyen – trumpet
  • Elliot Bruce – trombone
  • Mike Doughty – bass
  • Cerena Leaffer – piano
  • Kunal Gala – drums

Couldn’t make it?

If you were unable to come to the concert, you can still help! Please go to Neighbors In Need to make a tax-deductible donation. Your support for this cause is also a tribute to our musicians, who gave their time and talent so generously to our community. You can also view the following video featuring the North Andover Jazz Ensemble, which Steve D’Onofrio has kindly provided; information about Neighbors in Need and The Wounded Warrior Project is highlighted at the end of the video. Thank you!
