Band Parent Info Session Saturday Aug. 22nd

The North Andover Music Association (NAMA) will be holding an information session for parents of Band Students on Saturday, Aug 22 at 9:15 a.m. in the NAHS Chorus Room.

Come learn from other band parents the benefits and expectations of being in the NAHS Marching Band program:

Benefits of being in the band – why it’s worth it

Handling time commitments – yes, it can be done

Maintaining the uniform – mildew is not your friend

and much more!

NAMA is the all volunteer, parent booster club for music in the North Andover Public Schools. At Saturday’s session, we will also provide information about how you can get involved and support the band and other music programs through NAMA.  Our biggest and most important fundraiser is coming up fast: the October 3rd NESBA Competition held at North Andover High School.  We need as many volunteers as possible to run a successful show. No experience necessary!

Please join us on Saturday, Aug 22 at 9:15 a.m. in the Chorus Room for our info session. We would love to meet new band parents and we will do our best to address all of your questions.

Best regards,

Martin McGrath

NAMA President
