[BAND] NESBA COMPETITION AT WAKEFIELD

We are headed to Wakefield on Saturday, October 12th.  As the band will be rehearsing in Wakefield (it is not a typical competition day), we  will need 1 parent volunteer to join Linda Burns and Karen Bussell to chaperone one bus and either plan to stay in Wakefield all day until the competition is over and ride a bus back to North Andover after the competition OR ride a bus to Wakefield and get picked up by someone but plan to ride the bus after the competition back to North Andover. Busses will be leaving North Andover at 10:30 a.m. sharp.

Podium volunteers will help load/unload podiums and set them up on the competition field. Equipment volunteers will be responsible for assisting the pit students with their equipment. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.  For those of you who have participated in Wakefield before, you know that the field is at the top of a hill. For those of you who sign up for Podiums and/or Equipment will need to provide your own transportation to Wakefield. North Andover’s warm-up time is 6:35 p.m. and the performance time is 7:20 p.m.  A 5:30 arrival time for equipment volunteers would be great (the truck will be unloaded starting at 5:30).  The location of the equipment truck is behind the high school next to the gym.
