NAMS Jazz Band Earns Silver Medal Rating at MAJE Festival!
Congratulations to the NAMS Jazz Band! Under the direction of music teacher Chris Nelson, the auditioned ensemble performed in the Massachusetts Association for Jazz Education (MAJE) Northeast District Junior Jazz Band Festival held at Reading Memorial High School on May 3, 2016. They distinguished themselves by earning a Silver Medal rating, the highest rating awarded to any of the 14 participating schools at the festival.
Special commendation goes to the following NAMS students receiving individual awards:

Emma Greaves, Grade 8
MVP Award (only two presented at the Festival):

The NAMS Jazz Band will perform next as part of the North Andover Jazz Night on Friday, May 13th at 7:00 PM in the North Andover High School Café. This event is free and all are welcome!
