Band Information – Important!
Dear NAHS Scarlet Knight Band and Color Guard Members and Parents,
Welcome to the 2015 – 2016 North Andover Scarlet Knight Band. To the new parents and students – welcome to a tradition of excellence. My name is Justin D. Smalley, and I am very excited to begin my fifth year as the Director of Bands at North Andover High School.
The staff and I are thrilled about the show for the fall season – An American in Africa. To access the schedule, NA Band Handbook 2015 – 16, Music Department Health and Emergency Card, and order forms for the 2015 – 2016 school year, please go to the links and attachments. Please mark the dates on your calendar as attendance of every member is essential and mandatory in order for the band to continue to achieve its success. Please note this year all forms EXCEPT the Medical Information Form will be completed on Google Docs linked below and submitted electronically. The only two things you will need to bring to camp are the printed and completed Medical Information Form, and a check!
To students – becoming and being a member of the instrumental music program requires commitment, hard work and a positive attitude. The reward of being a member in this organization is not only your association with other students who share a sense of camaraderie and friendship, but also participating in the creation of a professional quality musical experience. There are also several opportunities for significant musical and personal growth and the development of leadership skills. Take pride in belonging to the Scarlet Knight Music Program!
