NAHS Music Students: Volunteer Opportunities for Music Students

NAHS Music Students: Are you looking for volunteer hours?  Want to lend a hand and pitch in for the music program?

North Andover High School and Middle School music students and parents are asked to support the North Andover Music Association in a couple ways this fall:

  1. The North Andover Merchant’s Association has asked for NAMA’s support with their Fall Festival in exchange for monetary support. The event is held at the town common on Saturday, September 21st. Students age 12 and over are eligible to help. Interested students and parents can sign up at the following link.  Please be sure to note “North Andover Music Association” under your name so NAMA volunteers can be counted! This is a great way to earn community service credit, support this organization (and our organization), and strengthen our community spirit!

Merchant’s Association Fall Festival

  1. The North Andover Music Association is hosting the first NESBA Marching Band Competition of the season on Saturday September 28th at the North Andover High School! This is NAMA’s largest fundraiser and requires the support of numerous parent and student volunteers. We can guarantee you’ll be busy all day and have fun while meeting new friends! Sign ups and more information can be found for this opportunity by visiting the volunteer tab on northandovermusic.org. If you have limited time to volunteer – please choose this opportunity! We need lots of help!!

Students may receive documentation for community service for either of these opportunities. Please note that NAHS band students may not miss rehearsal for these opportunities, but can reach out to Kristine Murphy at murphman@comcast.net if they need to fulfill community service requirements. There are always ways to help leading up to these events.
