Band Parents: Invitation to LAST 2016 Competition!

Thanks so much to parents who have helped out at competitions during this 2016 Marching Band season. If you haven’t been able to yet, you have one more chance, and as always we REALLY need your help! 🙂

The Scarlet Knights Marching Band is heading to Hormel Stadium in Medford this Sunday, October 30th, for their LAST competition of the season! Please click here to sign up for one or more of the jobs described below: Band’s Last Competition Volunteer Signup

Parent Chaperones, Podium Pals, Pit Equipment Assistant and Equipment Volunteers will be needed to assist the band and get the students safely onto the field, ON TIME (we haven’t been late yet!), for their performance.  Podium Pals will help load/unload podiums and place them at the front of the competition field.  Pit Equipment Assistants will assist in unloading and assisting the students in getting their equipment to the field.  Equipment Volunteers will be responsible for moving the show shelving (2 volunteers per shelf) to the competition field sidelines.  Mr. Smalley will be driving one truck and Martin McGrath (a/k/a Pit Boss) will be driving the other truck and he will need a passenger (or 2).  Upon arrival, please report to Martin McGrath for instructions.  For those of you who sign up for Podium Pals, Pit Equipment Assistant and Equipment Volunteer, you will need to provide your own transportation to Medford.

No experience is necessary – all parents are welcome!
